-Event by ANIVEC and CENIT with MEPs, European Commission, Business Europe and stakeholders
19 December 2025 – The Portuguese National Association of Clothing, Apparel and Fashion Industries (ANIVEC) together with the Textile Intelligence Centre (CENIT) will organize a debate on “Resilience & Fair Competitiveness in EU Textiles and Apparel”, on 15 January 2026, from 4.30 p.m. to 7 p.m. CET, at the Permanent Representation of Portugal to the European Union (Avenue de Cortenbergh 12, 1040 Brussels). The event will be held in person and will be conducted in English.
At a crucial moment for European competitiveness, the event will address the key challenges facing the textile and clothing sector, from EU trade policy, the Generalised System of Preferences (GSP), customs issues and compliance with rules, to the imperatives of competitiveness, the circular economy and sustainability.
